What this site collects, what it does not, and how advertising cookies would be handled if ads are enabled.
This is a static reference site. It does not require an account, does not set a login cookie and does not run analytics or tracking scripts at launch.
Information we receive
If you email us, we receive your email address, your message and anything you choose to attach. We use that information to reply and, where relevant, to correct the site. We do not sell it or add you to a marketing list.
Like most websites, the hosting provider may record standard technical logs — IP address, requested URL, user agent, timestamp and response code — for security and reliability. These logs are not used to build a profile of individual visitors.
Cookies
At launch, the site sets no cookies of its own. If analytics or advertising are added later, this page will be updated before those scripts go live, and any non-essential cookie will be described here.
Advertising disclosure
If advertising is enabled in future, third-party vendors, including Google, may use cookies to serve ads based on a visitor's prior visits to this or other websites. Google's use of advertising cookies enables it and its partners to serve ads to visitors based on their visit to this site and other sites on the internet.

This site is written for adults who garden. It is not directed at children and does not knowingly collect personal information from children. Photographs are served from this site rather than hotlinked; requests for those files appear in the hosting logs like any other asset request.
